Discover the Joy of Glass

Traditional Leaded Stained Glass

Fancy trying your hand at something truly timeless? Join us for a leaded stained glass workshop and discover the magic of this beautiful, traditional craft.

Leaded stained glass has been around for centuries, adding colour and character to everything from grand cathedrals to cosy cottages. It’s a craft steeped in history, combining precision with creativity, and there’s nothing quite like seeing sunlight pour through something you’ve made with your own hands.

Over the course of the workshop, you’ll get hands-on with all the key techniques – from cutting and shaping glass to leading, spot soldering, cementing, and polishing. Step by step, you’ll bring your own stunning glass panel to life – something you’ll be proud to hang in your window at home.

Whether you’re looking to pick up a new skill, indulge your creative side, or simply spend a satisfying day doing something a bit different, this workshop is a perfect place to start.

Come and give it a go – we’d love to see you there!

Copper Foil (Tiffany) Stained Glass

If you loved the sound of our leaded stained glass course, you might be excited to explore another beautiful branch of the craft: copper foil work – also known as Tiffany glass. This technique opens up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

Copper foil technique was made famous in the late 19th century by Louis Comfort Tiffany (yes – that Tiffany), who used it to create his iconic stained glass lamps. Unlike the chunkier leaded method, copper foil made it possible to craft more intricate and curved forms – bringing a delicate, jewel-like quality to the work. It revolutionised decorative glass and remains a favourite among modern makers for its versatility and precision.

During the course, you’ll learn all the essential skills: how to cut and shape your glass, wrap it in copper foil, “tin” the foil with solder, and run a neat solder seam to hold everything securely in place. It’s a hands-on, satisfying process – and at the end of the day, you’ll head home with a beautiful handmade piece that you’ll want to show off to everyone!

We’ll provide everything you need – just bring your creativity and a willingness to have a go!

Glass-on-Glass Mosaics

If you're drawn to colour, pattern, and a touch of sparkle, you’ll absolutely love our glass-on-glass mosaics workshop – a wonderfully creative and (fair warning!) highly addictive craft. It’s a chance to lose yourself in a world of shimmering colour, making something truly unique and beautiful from start to finish.

From bowls and picture frames to window hangings and candle holders, the possibilities with this technique are nearly endless. Unlike traditional , chunkier tile mosaics glass-on-glass mosaics are more delicate allowing light to shine through and bringing your design to life in a luminous, almost stained-glass-like way..

We have patterns you’re welcome to use, and we’re always happy to help you design something from scratch – but most people find themselves  swept away choosing colours, creating shapes, and letting their imagination guide them

Come along and give it a go – we’d love to help you get started on your mosaic journey!

Booking A Course With Us

Ready to dive into the world of creativity? Book your workshops with us and let's create something truly special!

How it works – booking your workshop

Our one day glass workshops are run in two sessions: one in the morning from 9am–1pm, and another in the afternoon from 2pm–5pm. - although many people find themselves rushing lunch or even working through it, they’re so involved in their project!

You can book one, two or three days.

For those who find weekdays a problem, or fancy a longer creative break, we offer a weekend course of two techniques over two days. On the Saturday we learn traditional leaded stained glass, and on the Sunday it’s the  skills of copper foil glass. Should you want to add the glass-on-glass mosaics course, that happens on the following Monday so you can stay for that if you wish.

All prices include absolutely everything you’ll need – from glass, materials and equipment, to friendly guidance and as many cups of tea or coffee as you can drink! Just bring your enthusiasm (and maybe a packed lunch), and we’ll take care of the rest.

Most people find that it takes two sessions to complete a project, whether that’s a leaded glass panel, a copper foil creation or a glowing glass-on-glass mosaic.

We offer three booking options:

  • Single day: €110
A one day course in leaded  stained glass. copper foil  work or glass-on-glass mosaics.

  • Weekend Course: €220

  • Three day course: €300
This gives you time to explore all three techniques – leaded stained glass, copper foil work, and glass-on-glass mosaics – at your own pace, with plenty of time to play and createl .

Whether you’re treating yourself, booking with a friend, or thinking of gifting someone a place, these sessions are a chance to slow down, get hands-on, and make something beautiful. We’d love to welcome you into the studio!
